A neckmike is an award-winning patented combination of neck microphone and two micro-speakers connected with noise reducing ear plugs.

The neck-microphone catches the user’s voice directly from the neckskin. Thanks to a special filter, the voice sounds almost as in an ordinary microphone, and nearly all the disturbing noise around is effectively shut off.

The two noise-cancelling earplugs effectively shuts off the environment noise, and the inbuilt speakers lets the sound directly in the ears. Neckmike is not yet classified as hearing protection civilian, but military tests shows that when you have chosen the earplugs that fits your ear with good tightening, you receive approx. 25dB cancelling of outside noise, which is as effective as when you put your fingers in your ears.

Neckmike launched the fourth generation in July 2009, marked MK3.

The Neckmike headset is designed so you can easily replace your Neckmike from one variant to another by simply changing cables.

Today there are a number of variants:
¤Mobile Neckmike Stereo with a wired connection to the most common cell phones.
¤Mobil Neckmike Stereo with Bluetooth connection.
¤Motorcycle Neckmike for communication on and between different MC.
¤Zumo Neckmike Stereo intended for connection to Garmin Zumo GPS.

If you are working in a noisy environment, the Neckmike is a good solution, you will not be disturbed from high outside noise, you can listen to radio or music from your Mobile phone, MP3, or why not, a talk book.

Thanks to the earplugs effective noise-cancelling, you don’t need to have a high volume for listening, which makes it possible to still hear what’s happening around you.

If you are using the Neckmike when driving a Bike/Snowmobile, it’s nearly as quite as inside of a car, you can still hear the engine, but with a pleasant level.

Mobile-Neckmike will be delivered with three different sizes of earplugs, made in very smooth and flexible silicon rubber. They can easily be washed in soap and water, and they are also available as a separate spare part.
